Special dietary requirements

Our rich fruit cake can be made alcohol-free on request.

For dairy, gluten or egg free cakes we try to accomodate where possible although flavours may be limited.

Although we can omit nuts from our recipes we cannot guarantee cakes are nut free as they are made in an environment that uses nuts.

Our royal icing is traditionally made using fresh egg whites. However, the advice from The Department of Health is that uncooked egg should be avoided, especially with pregnant women, young children, people who are ill or the elderly. We are therefore very happy to use substitute egg white powder if you wish.
